DISPATCH

Dispatch is an award winning virtual reality storytelling experience. Written and Directed by Edward Robles, Fire Panda worked with production company ‘Here Be Dragons’ to create a unique immersive storytelling experience.

Dispatchan episodic story told in four parts, follows a small-town police dispatcher named Ted (Martin Starr) on the worst night of his life. What begins as a domestic violence call quickly cascades into a host of attacks across town, and the local police are struggling to keep up. Every new call sheds light on Ted's inner torments and pushes him closer toward danger.

‘Dispatch’ was awarded a Digital Craft Gold Lion at Cannes in 2018.

VR STORYTELLING

During the development of the experience Oculus filmed a spotlight on Fire Panda, which can be seen here.

Fire Panda has been exploring storytelling within VR for years, and put a lot of these learnings into Dispatch. We continue to bring those learnings to every project we work on.

The main character Ted is voiced by Martin Star (Silicon Valley, Spiderman), seen here during a video section of the experience.
