Sweet Dreams
Room scale VR experience
'Sweet Dreams' is a dramatic contemporary allegory in a sugar coating, will premier at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival in the New Frontier section.
"Our appetite is destructive. An age of cognitive dissonance: never more conscious of our impact, never more conspicuous in our consumption. A time of sustainability and plastic-wrapped bananas, of food banks and gold-plated burgers. The land of plenty is here"
Nick Pittom worked with producers 'Marshmallow Laser Feast' as Lead Developer of the project.
More to be revealed soon, and you can check out the latest updates on the twitter HERE

DISPATCH - Making of blog
Dispatch is now complete and available for Rift and GearVR!

DISPATCH
AWARD WINNING VR EXPERIENCE
Dispatch, an episodic story told in four parts, follows a small-town police dispatcher named Ted (Martin Starr) on the worst night of his life. What begins as a domestic violence call quickly cascades into a host of attacks across town, and the local police are struggling to keep up. Every new call sheds light on Ted's inner torments and pushes him closer toward danger.
Police dispatchers are trained to see with sound. Every door slam, tire screech, and piercing scream paints a picture in their minds. The visual world of Dispatch unfolds inside Ted's imagination as he wades through the soundscape, advising terrified callers and listening for clues. Ted yearns to be at the scene of the crime, to be given the chance to really help someone.
He's about get what he wished for.
Dispatch is a storytelling experience told entirely in realtime VR. It will soon be released on Oculus GearVR and Oculus Rift.

Colosse: A Story in Virtual Reality
Award winning VR experience
Fire Panda's Nick Pittom worked with an amazingly talented team of artists to create a unique Storytelling experience.
The project was entered into the Oculus Mobile VRJam, where it won 'Gold' in the Experience catagory.
'COLOSSE' is a real-time VR storytelling experience, with a stylized, character-focused visual narrative. The viewer's gaze - the things they pay most attention to - will direct the experience around them, giving them a subtle control over events as they unfold. We've set out to create a visually powerful, art-driven style, that will immerse the viewer in a highly stylized environment. The project was conceived by Produce Joseph Chen as a way to bring the powerful 2D art style of Kevin Dart into a VR experience.

DECAY THEORY
Decay Theory is a Storytelling Experience for VR. We follow SuRei, a young girl, who lives on a spaceship, alone except for FeiMa, an ancient traveller, grandmother-figure and enormous bio-mechanical horror. Their journey is to explore the galaxy, seeking out human civilisation, lost in a cataclysm.
While SuRei hopes to find life and adventure among the stars, she will find the greatest mysteries - and dangers - lie in her own past. The experience will explore themes of family, fate, love, loss and how difficult decisions make us the people that we are.
Viewers take the role of an unassuming spaceship drone who must rescue SuRei and save the ship from a mysterious threat.
The project is currently in development.
PROJECT
APOLLO 11 - VR Experience
Landing on the moon was one of the greatest achievements mankind has ever embarked on and now it’s time for you to step into Neil Armstrong’s shoes and experience what it was like to live through this historic event.
Immersive VR Education are producing an experience based upon the historic 1969 moon landing, and Fire Panda are helping them bring it to life. You take the place of Neil Armstrong as the Apollo 11 crew rocket into space and land on the surface of our closest celestial neighbour.
The experience uses official NASA archive footage, audio and data to recreate the events for viewers to experience first hand.
